I’d recommend without hesitation
If you’re looking for a provider who is professional, caring, and genuinely invested in outcome, this is it. They were so accomodating towards our 5yr old who struggles socially, emotionally and has a speech delay Zayd was exceptional and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how he interacted with him so well meeting his every need 🙏
Really positive experience with Zima Care. The team is caring, professional and easy to communicate with. They actually take the time to understand individual needs which makes a big difference. Would definitely recommend.
This service has been such a blessing. They do so many different things, but what really stood out to me was the way they focus on real capacity building. My nephew, who’s living with Level 2 ASD, has always struggled with social skills. Other providers would just take him to the park or out to eat and call it capacity building, but it never really helped him grow.
When I got in touch with Zayd from Zyma, everything changed. He took my nephew on a proper day trip where the focus was on building life skills and social skills in a fun, meaningful way. It felt more like a “boys-to-men” experience. They went four-wheel driving at Mount Disappointment, and my nephew had the best time. The feedback I got was incredible, and he still talks about it.
Because of limited funding, we now arrange something once a month. Instead of four-wheel driving, they go hiking on different trails, and each trip is just as special. I really wish we could do this every week, but I’m so grateful that Zyma makes the most out of the funding he does have.
What makes it even better is how inclusive they are. Zayd sometimes invites other clients even from other providers so the boys can have fun together and practice their social skills in real situations. It’s something I’ve never seen before, and I honestly love it. My nephew is happier, more confident, and learning skills that will stay with him for life.
I’m very grateful to Zyma Care thank you for the referral, boys. There was a participant who needed specific support for virtual reality therapy, and the director at Zyma Care came across my website and referred him to me. He came down, had a chat, got to know me, and ended up referring a few more clients who needed my services. I’m really thankful for this, especially because Zayd, the director, didn’t ask for anything in return. Every other provider I’ve worked with has asked for a referral fee, but Zayd genuinely just wants the best for his clients. I really admire that. I’m so happy I get to work with Zyma Care thank you for the great business, guys. You’re honestly the best.
Learn who’s eligible, how funding works and how to take part in NDIS-funded activities.
Yes, the NDIS funds supports related to social and recreational activities if you need them because of your disability. Examples include specialised equipment to help you join activities and help to travel to a centre when you can’t use public transport. The NDIS does not typically pay for entry fees to activities and standard equipment you need to join an activity. Visit this page to learn more.
You can use this support to get the help you need to take part in social, community or recreational activities because of your disability. This might include support to attend a class, visit friends, go to events or join group hobbies. The NDIS won’t pay for the cost of the activity itself (like tickets, entry fees or memberships), but it may fund a support worker to assist you during the activity.
To be eligible for NDIS-funded group activities, you must be a participant and the support should be directly related to your disability. For more information about eligibility, visit this page.
NDIS group activities include things like fitness programs, art or music classes, gardening, hobby groups, social outings and other shared experiences that help you connect with others and build new skills.
