We stay in touch throughout your stay so we can make adjustments if your situation changes.
Our staff will help you understand if MTA is right for you, guiding you throughout the process.
Our team can organise separate NDIS supports if you require assistance during your MTA stay.

I’d recommend without hesitation
If you’re looking for a provider who is professional, caring, and genuinely invested in outcome, this is it. They were so accomodating towards our 5yr old who struggles socially, emotionally and has a speech delay Zayd was exceptional and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how he interacted with him so well meeting his every need 🙏
Really positive experience with Zima Care. The team is caring, professional and easy to communicate with. They actually take the time to understand individual needs which makes a big difference. Would definitely recommend.
This service has been such a blessing. They do so many different things, but what really stood out to me was the way they focus on real capacity building. My nephew, who’s living with Level 2 ASD, has always struggled with social skills. Other providers would just take him to the park or out to eat and call it capacity building, but it never really helped him grow.
When I got in touch with Zayd from Zyma, everything changed. He took my nephew on a proper day trip where the focus was on building life skills and social skills in a fun, meaningful way. It felt more like a “boys-to-men” experience. They went four-wheel driving at Mount Disappointment, and my nephew had the best time. The feedback I got was incredible, and he still talks about it.
Because of limited funding, we now arrange something once a month. Instead of four-wheel driving, they go hiking on different trails, and each trip is just as special. I really wish we could do this every week, but I’m so grateful that Zyma makes the most out of the funding he does have.
What makes it even better is how inclusive they are. Zayd sometimes invites other clients even from other providers so the boys can have fun together and practice their social skills in real situations. It’s something I’ve never seen before, and I honestly love it. My nephew is happier, more confident, and learning skills that will stay with him for life.
I’m very grateful to Zyma Care thank you for the referral, boys. There was a participant who needed specific support for virtual reality therapy, and the director at Zyma Care came across my website and referred him to me. He came down, had a chat, got to know me, and ended up referring a few more clients who needed my services. I’m really thankful for this, especially because Zayd, the director, didn’t ask for anything in return. Every other provider I’ve worked with has asked for a referral fee, but Zayd genuinely just wants the best for his clients. I really admire that. I’m so happy I get to work with Zyma Care thank you for the great business, guys. You’re honestly the best.
Learn who MTA is for, what’s included and how to get started.
The NDIS funds between $150 to $230 per day for MTA depending on location. This funding is generally available for up to 90 days and covers the cost of the accommodation only, not daily supports, food and other living expenses.
Participants who are eligible for MTA are those who have a long-term home they’ll move into but need somewhere else to live in the medium term. They are also unable to stay in their current accommodation while they wait. Visit this page for more information about MTA eligibility.
If you’re being discharged from hospital, you may be eligible for MTA, even if you don’t have a confirmed long-term home yet. MTA can help you leave hospital sooner while you work out your long-term housing options.
If you’re eligible for other Home and Living supports like SIL, you can have MTA added to your plan. That’s because MTA is not a standalone support; it is usually included when you’re waiting for a longer-term housing solution like Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to be ready. At Zyma Care, we’ll help you through the process of getting MTA in your plan, from answering forms to speaking with your support coordinator or planner if needed.

Get in touch today to arrange MTA that meets your needs. We’ll help you access safe, temporary accommodation and plan your next steps toward long-term housing.
