I’d recommend without hesitation
If you’re looking for a provider who is professional, caring, and genuinely invested in outcome, this is it. They were so accomodating towards our 5yr old who struggles socially, emotionally and has a speech delay Zayd was exceptional and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how he interacted with him so well meeting his every need 🙏

This service has been such a blessing. They do so many different things, but what really stood out to me was the way they focus on real capacity building. My nephew, who’s living with Level 2 ASD, has always struggled with social skills. Other providers would just take him to the park or out to eat and call it capacity building, but it never really helped him grow.

When I got in touch with Zayd from Zyma, everything changed. He took my nephew on a proper day trip where the focus was on building life skills and social skills in a fun, meaningful way. It felt more like a “boys-to-men” experience. They went four-wheel driving at Mount Disappointment, and my nephew had the best time. The feedback I got was incredible, and he still talks about it.

Because of limited funding, we now arrange something once a month. Instead of four-wheel driving, they go hiking on different trails, and each trip is just as special. I really wish we could do this every week, but I’m so grateful that Zyma makes the most out of the funding he does have.

What makes it even better is how inclusive they are. Zayd sometimes invites other clients even from other providers so the boys can have fun together and practice their social skills in real situations. It’s something I’ve never seen before, and I honestly love it. My nephew is happier, more confident, and learning skills that will stay with him for life.

I’m very grateful to Zyma Care thank you for the referral, boys. There was a participant who needed specific support for virtual reality therapy, and the director at Zyma Care came across my website and referred him to me. He came down, had a chat, got to know me, and ended up referring a few more clients who needed my services. I’m really thankful for this, especially because Zayd, the director, didn’t ask for anything in return. Every other provider I’ve worked with has asked for a referral fee, but Zayd genuinely just wants the best for his clients. I really admire that. I’m so happy I get to work with Zyma Care thank you for the great business, guys. You’re honestly the best.

Frequently Asked Questions About NDIS Assistance With Travel and Transport

We Answer Common Questions About NDIS Transport Support

Learn how NDIS transport services work, what’s included, who they’re for and more.

Yes, the NDIS covers transportation supports if you are not able to use public transport due to your disability. Eligibility and funding depend on your individual needs and what is considered reasonable and necessary. For more information, visit this page.

According to the NDIS, transport funding can be used to cover the cost of taxis, rideshares and other private transport if you are not able to use public transport. It may also be used to fund driver assessments, driving lessons, training to use public transport, vehicle modifications for private use and activity-based transport with support workers. Visit this page to learn more.

NDIS transport funding is paid differently based on how your plan is managed. For instance, if you are agency-managed (NDIA), providers claim payments directly from the NDIS portal. If you are plan-managed, your registered plan manager handles the payments. If you are self-managed, you pay and later claim reimbursement through the portal using your receipts.

NDIS transport funding is split into three levels. As of May 2025, Level 1 may provide $1,784 per year for participants who aren’t working or studying but are seeking better community access. Level 2 offers up to $2,676 per year for those working or studying part-time and participating in day programs or other social activities. Finally, Level 3 may provide $3,456 per year for people who are working, looking for work or studying at least 15 hours a week, and are unable to use public transport because of their disability. In exceptional circumstances, participants may receive higher funding to support employment.
