Available Supports

Drop-In Support

Available up to 24/7 coverage subject to participant’s funding with a shared support model

Each participant gets their own room with a support worker available for shifts as per their request and funding.
Overnight funding is not always required. We assess each participant’s funding and support needs on a case-by-case basis.
Rent and support are billed separately. Your NDIS plan covers support costs while rent is paid through your own income, DSP or Commonwealth Rent Assistance.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

24/7 support in a shared home funded through your NDIS plan

Each participant has their own room with a dedicated support worker rostered across the home. Support ratio and hours are determined by your individual NDIS funding level.
Rent and support are billed separately. Your NDIS plan covers support costs while rent is paid through your own income or Commonwealth Rent Assistance.

Short-Term Accommodation / STA Respite

Fully supported short stays funded under your NDIS plan

Each participant receives dedicated support for the duration of their stay. Funding covers a set number of days per year under your core supports budget.
Overnight support is included. We assess each participant’s funding and support needs prior to arrival on a case-by-case basis.

Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)

Supported transitional housing while your long-term home is confirmed

Participants stay in a fully furnished, supported home for a defined period. A confirmed long-term housing plan must be in place to access MTA funding through your NDIS plan.
A support worker is on-site to assist with daily living. Support hours are based on your individual funding and assessed needs.

Individual Living Options (ILO)

Flexible support built around your chosen living arrangement

Support is tailored to your living situation — whether alone, with a host, or with others. Hours and ratios are determined by your NDIS funding and individual support needs.
Overnight support is not always required. We assess each participant’s funding and living goals on a case-by-case basis.

No. If a participant is living in our home, supports must be provided by Zyma Care to ensure consistency and quality of care.

Rent can be paid directly from the Disability Support Pension via Centrepay. We’re a registered Centrepay provider, so tenants set it up through Centrelink and payments are deducted weekly.
